A modem is an important component of meter reading systems. In many cases, there is no possibility to bring wired internet to the meter installation sites, so a modem is a convenient alternative.

MCL 5.10 P1 is an excellent solution for transferring data from the meter to a remote computer. The main advantages of the controller are simple installation and reliable operation. The modem is powered from the meter's P1 interface, and is mounted on a 35 mm DIN rail or glued to the panel body with "hook-up" adhesive tape.

Modem features:

• Automatic detection of the communication provider. After inserting a SIM card, the controller automatically detects the network provider. MCL 5.10 P1 supports up to 6 different communication provider settings;
• MQTT protocol support;
• Formation, storage and transmission of power profiles (P5, P15, P30, P60);
• Compatible with NAVITUS LT Enersis v3, and also easily integrated into third-party reading systems;
• Power supply from the electricity meter - no external power source is required (with stable LTE connection coverage).
• Internal battery. This is a source of energy reserve for the modem when more power is needed when sending data;
